I've always used a t2i with a Zoom H4n... I have the sescom cable so that I don't have to sync in post but I don't have a way to monitor what the camera is "hearing." Sure I can put headphones on the zoom but I don't like hearing what the zoom is hearing... I want to hear what the canon is hearing...
I don't do much anymore, and I'm looking for the smallest footprint for interviews... Ideally, I just want a DSLR that has a headphone jack without having to spend the money on the 7d2.... is there a "rebel" line or any other camera (nikon, sony, etc) that offers a headphone jack and an external mic jack????
