Header Question

Really quick and it may be a very stupid question, but does playing a tape back in the camera deck add hours to the headers?

You mean to the heads? I believe so... anything that spins the drums and drags tape across the heads adds use hours.

I'm aware of no DVX user who's ever worn out their heads. Other problems, sure, but that particular one isn't something you should put much worry into.
