Head hour price point

I am still in the market for a dvx 100b. I was wondering if there might be a blue book for the dvx100? Kinda like Kellys blue book. You know... a used DVX100b with 200 head hours and no scratches on the lens is worth $1300. I know it's a bit of a stretch but I had to ask. It is so crazy how obsessed one can become.

if it comes with **** like batteries and all the other essentials, that is a great deal. I got an A back in december for 1700 with a tripod and the other goodies it needed, and from what I hear the dvx's will last 2000?* hours? go for it.

2000 is a basic estimate. To my knowledge there haven't been enough failures for anyone to really say. And even then it would only be failure on the heads.

A DVX is going to cost between $1200 - $2000 used. The hours can be a consideration, but there's no set value change. Just watch out for ones that are really high, 800+ is pushing it for the same price as something less.
