HDMI to HD SDI adapter. Has anyone used one?

I have a multi-cam shoot coming up where we need to do live switching between cameras using HD SDI or Component output. I'd love to use some 7D's during this shoot, so I was wondering if anyone has had any experience converting the HDMI out of the 7D to something that a switchboard (a Tricaster in my case) can take in? The camera needs to stay somewhat mobile too.

The Blackmagic (http://www.evsonline.com/blackmagic-design-mini-converter-hdmi-to-sdi.html) is a commonly used one. You can either DC power it, or power it by say a panasonic battery with an adapter. If your switcher has composite, you can use the composite out of the 7D with the breakout cable and than just extend it with some barrels.

Awesome. I'm getting a Black Magic box in today to test out. I think the only question now is the stability of the HDMI connection for the live shoot and figuring out how to crop the image just slightly enough so we don't broadcast the red record icon on the screen...

Actually, does anyone know if it's possible to completely turn off the on-screen-display info when using an external monitor?
