HDMI Question about GH1

[Mike Krumlauf]

Most people are aware of the motion delay on the GH1 LCD... i was wondering if this still happens on an external HDMI monitor or if its just a problem with the LCD itself?

[john flores]

IIRC, the GH1 doesn't output to HDMI during recording, only playback....

[Geoff Gilson]

The GH1's LCD is just a bit smeary-looking in some conditions. Nothing to do with what it captures.

[Mike Krumlauf]

Geoff - I know it doesn't affect what's recorded.

John - I was unaware that the GH1 could not be used with an external display. tragic. :/

Gh1's HDMI output is ONLY for clip playback. Never for monitoring or recording- it is disabled.

Barry - John already told me this.
