So used my DP6 all night last night. Today the client plugged a BM HDMI to SDI powered converter in and got nothing. Tried my DP6 again and got nothing. When the DP6 is plugged in, under menu > other functions > HDMI it is blinking.

Is is my output fried? How can I fix this?

have similar issue with my ikan monitor. I cant figure out if it is the monitor or the camera.

give a shot at changing to PF24 or 60i on the camera. not that you'd want to shoot like that, but might indicate where the issue stems

there's also the user bit output mode, try switching to pulldown.

Tried resetting, switching to pulldown, changing all framerates. No joy.

It's not the cable or the positioning of the cable. The HDMI port went out. Not sure how. It worked one night and the next morning it didn't. Sending off to Canon under warranty repair. Posting this here in case anyone else runs into this issue.

My C100 did this after I drowned it. Even though I could shoot pictures, an array of features were fizzed, including the HDMI port, which blinked when anything was connected to it. Canon Oz confirmed the HDMI was screwed.....So I would say your HDMI port has pooped itself....I hope I'm wrong....Phi

You got water on your camera?! That's unfortunate! How did that happen? I'm guessing it's not covered under warranty?

This just happened with my C100 and the Marshall LCD50 HDMI external. Worked fine Thursday all day and yesterday got the blinking HDMI in the menu. Called Canon support and was told they'd not heard of this issue and blamed it on the Marshall. Sent Marshall an email covering the issue and haven't heard back yet. Like the OP it works on my 5D3 and 7D. Travis did sending it to Canon resolve your issue and what was their diagnose? TIA
