HDMI and uncompressed out?

Hello!
Does anybody knows next thing:
Are Canon cameras like EOS 60D utilizes uncompressed HDMI out?
Or is any signal that I can get from HDMI out port compressed anyways?

that's a bit irrelevant because it has overlays (graphics and data such as shutter speed and such), so it's not suitable for recording

I can switch it off easy with internal camera settings. Only a tiny border of 3:2 frame still on display. But I can turn it off with Magic Lantern if I wish.
Rumors says that Canon 5DMIII will get full HD uncompressed HDMI out this April.

Any news about other DLS cameras? 60D model interested the most in my case.

Doesn't the center square stay there even with ML? It used to be so a year ago, but I really haven't kept up with the updates.
In any case, IIRC, it's 4:2:0 uncompressed; but I could be wrong, maybe someone with more experience with that will chime in.

On my 60D I can switch it off when selecting AF with smile mode. Smile looks like this ;г)

All HDMI output is uncompressed, otherwise it wouldn't work with your devices. The test is whether or not it puts an authentic 1080i60 4:2:2 signal with no status overlays (all HDMI output that you will encounter will be 60i with 2:2 pulldown for 30p or 3:2 pulldown for 24p applied).

I wish to record video outside of camera. Monitoring video fullscreen is also will be awesome!
