is 4200 rpm too slow of a hard drive to edit HD stuff with? is there a minimum speed?

That's a sweet laptop, great screen and all. The hard drives's 2 x 5400rpm. I edit with edius with a 5400 and it goes great. With such a good laptop you should swap out one of the drive's for a 100GB 7200rpm and use the old one maybe in a usb otg or get just a cheap 2.5" case for it.
When the hell are they going to give us 4GB ram in a laptop? Even most expensive laptops max out at 2GB. Do you know what max ram is in this?
