I know that the HVX can't pass HD from Firewire In to Component Out. But can other DV decks? I have a Panasonic AJ-SD255. I'm guessing not, but haven't found any hard data.
So without a handy solution, what's best for a reasonable cost? I've read a bit about Matrox, and video cards (Blackmagic and Kona).
