Hey there,
This might not be the proper place to post this but I could'nt find a better place for the post.
My question regards the possibility of burning HD content on a regular 4,7gb dvd. I have read in multiple forums that it is possible but no real information has been put in to how.
I understand that if this is possible, regular dvd players can not play the material. this is clear. However appearantly HD-DVD players do understand burned 4.7gb DVD's with HD material on them. Ofcourse the 4.7gb limits the amount of footage that can be storaged on the DVD but if even a few minutes is possible that would be great.
My question is that if it is possible, how exactly could one get a working dvd done? Let's say with and without a NLE. In what format should it be and what dvd burners/programs are up for the job. I heard some version of Nero can do it but this is just stuff I read on a random forum.
If someone has experience and can help me out, would be gratefull!
