HD let down?

you guys are nuts!! talking about "even if 720p is only a little better then shooting SD"what gives?

well I guess you have never shot HD, so how would you know..right?

I'm afraid, you are absolutely right. There is a much smaller step between 576p and 720p then between 480p and 720p. Have seen even uprezzed material from 576p to 720p and everybody would have sworn it was 720p native.
In consequence, it might pay to buy a used top notch 576p cam instead of a new
720p cam and go the uprez way - and save a lot of money. ;-)

Jared was talking about the Panasonic produced promo DVD. Barry is refering to footage that will be shown at DVExpo next week. Therein lies the difference. Be a bit more patient footage is coming soon.

O joshing...for a moment my gulible self thought there was somthing I've missed. :laugh:

I'll try to be a bit more patient, hopfully I can take a look at it some more at the Expo. :beer:
