HD Delivery

I'm shooting a project on the HVX200 (720pn24) and the client needs to be able to show it in HD at conventions, etc. on an HD TV they have. They are asking for blu-ray but it doesn't seem like blu-ray burning is available yet on the mac, and they need this beginning of January. Any other suggestions of how to do this, preserving the best quality? D-VHS? Or does anyone know anywhere (preferably in Los Angeles) that I can bring my drive and they can burn a blu-ray disc? Thanks.

Exactly what I would have said. Or, for even better results add a Matrox MXO. Play the self-contained HD movie from QT player through the MXO and then either DVI or component to the HD-TV (or SDI if they are using monitor with SDI inputs).

or you can render as WMV-HD and play on this

I have that player. WMV 9 does not play. I tried Vegas and Edius WMV 9 output. I also have a Buffalo player that will play the same WMV 9 file
that the JVC will not.
But...............
You can make a .TS file that will playback in the JVC unit and we have
done this for several digital signage jobs. And the JVC unit is only $385 USD

Then why does the page say it can play WMV-HD files?

If it can then JVC needs some tutorials....
I tried 1280x720 24p 30p 60p
and 1920x1080 24p
I downloaded a Microsoft WMV and it would not play....
All of those same files would play with the Buffalo....
But I prefer the .TS file over the wmv anyway....
It just seems to play better and have less artifacting...

Thank for the replies. So i looked at that JVC player and that sounds like it will work. A couple questions. On the product page it talks about working with HDV but doesn't mention DVCPRO HD. What do i need to do to use my 720pN DVCPROHD sequence on this machine? Do I do use the HD-DVD: HD MPEG-2 setting in compressor; or the HD DVD: H.264 setting? Also, I notice the player doesn't have HDMI out...only DVI. I assume using a DVI-->HDMI adapter won't hurt the quality at all?
I assume this is the same quality I'd get with HD-DVD or Blu-Ray...the only difference being that this can only handle 30 minutes per disc?

Thanks for all your help...this is all new to me and so many different formats/settings/codecs to keep up with.
