Can anyone here who uses the HC-X1000 & Adobe Premiere CS6 please tell me what settings / video compression they would use to put up a YouTube. I record in 4K 60p and cant even get it to look good when I do a conversion down to 1080p.

Half of the time I can't even get my videos to look as good in 1080p, as other peoples do in 480p. :embarasse

What sort of size in MB's are peoples 10min HD videos that they upload?

Phil i dont use CS6 but PD 13 at present, but even with other software like Coral i have never experienced your problem,i edit and render the film usualy in 4K but 1920x1080P at times as well, after checking the film is ok i simply upload the rendered film to youtube. This 3m 21s film https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUMKSfp5z4E is 1.18 GB
so a 10m one would be in the region of 3.6 GB

Thanks for your info flinty, look's good, (although it gets a little shaky when you zoom right in, but that's not the compression).
The size you are uploading is what I'm talking about though. TV show and Movies you can download look good (only good, not excellent) even though they are less than 1 GB for a 2 Hour movie. Is there a specific Codec or Program they use that I don't know about?

I do H.264 High 4.2 VBR 12 - 16

Most recent render I've done is 8.5 Minutes and the size is 850MB.

Yes even my fairly heavy Miller Tripod will not give me rock steady footage in a strong wind like there was there,i hope you manage to solve your problem obviously 1920x1080P renders are a lot less size on my set up but nothing like as small as you are refering to.

Flinty, Was referring to your video. We searched the river in Blandford but without luck. We will try again soon but we are not local.
