Hawaii Beach Grabs from Today

I noticed Zach put up some fall grabs which looked great, so I thought I'd put up some beach grabs I shot today.

No color correction.

ditto to everyone that responded. nice grabs, trunks. gotta love that hawaii landscape. amazing stuff, especially considering you did no color correction.
 
What beach was that in Hawaii. I wished I had taken my DVX with me when I was out there in Wakiki last fall. I did take some really nice snapshots with my digital still camera.
 
Kimko has good eyes. That is Hanauma Bay. My family and I love to go there. It can get a bit crowded, but the water is usually really nice and there are ton of fish for my son to see. It's also a nice little place to go snorkeling. I'm just hoping to get an underwater housing someday.
 
I don't know, something about these clips, they all look sort of washed out to me.

Perhaps they just need color correction, but I might of played with the iris and the nd filter more when you shot it.

Yup, that's Hanauma Bay in Oahu. I like Maui a lot too. Ever been to the "fishbowl" near telephone pole #17 at the south end of Maui?
 
oh yeah how about lil beach where all the people are naked and laid out like a bunch of seals
 
Maui is deffinetly my favorite island. Oahu is nice though too. Hopefully I can get over there to visit my sister this spring.
 
John, I don't get you. Why would you say these aren't from the DVX.

I shot all the footage in 24P. Settings include:

1/200 Shutter
1/16 Iris
1/8 ND Filter

The only thing I had on auto was the focus. Everything came out on full focus on my external monitor.

I'm sorry I can't be a technical genius at the DVX like you John but if they look bad then that's not on me. They looked sharp as heck on my end coming out my monitor.

I don't understand why everybody needs color correction on every clip. Why can't some people just appreciate how it is.
