Having P2 issues

Just got my HVX202en.

Now Im wanting to tranfer the data from the card to my HDD then import or capture to Prem Pro 2.

First i switch to MCR mode, then hold down the button for two secs to mount the disks which it sees, no problem.
Then i try to import data but it doesnt recognise the file, what am i doing wrong?

Premiere does not recognize MXF files. You need an application such as Cineform to transcode the files.

DVFilm Raylight will also work. I've used it for a while now, and have had nothing but good things to say about it.

Ive downloaded Cineform, but couldnt import the file, what am i doing wrong?
Is it because Ive filmed in 720/25pn mode?

The MXF files are batch converted with the utility HDLink which is located with Start Menu -> Programs -> CineForm -> Aspect HD. HDLink gives you many conversion options like image quality, pull-down removal (for 1080p24/A modes), and resizing (very handy for converting DVCPRO-HD's 960x720 into a more standard 1280x720.
