Have GH13: would another GH13 or GH2 be best for two camera dramatic shooting?

I am going to be doing a lot of shooting with two cameras and I am ready to buy a second camera to compliment my GH13. I am willing to buy a GH2 and can see its advantages over the GH13 but I am concerned about getting a consistant look when editing scenes shot with the two cameras without massive amounts of color grading.

I am taking the Spike Lee approach of shooting dramatic dialogue with two cameras rather than a one camera approach with one actor reading lines and the other on camera. I will be working with quite a few actors who are inexperienced, especially acting for film, and they would not have the skills to pace their performances and hit marks when performing multiple takes on one camera. In any case, I think the Spike Lee approach can make for more natural performances and more flexible options when editing. I am also going to be shooting a lot of training videos for martial arts and yoga studios where one camera will be static and the other on a glidecam for detailed movement shots. And I may even do some weddings (although I'm not sure I want to take that on).

With all of this in mind, I need a camera that will compliment my GH13. My options seem to be:

Another GH13 - my concerns are that I would have to buy one used and I hesitate using a camera for professional use that has been hacked by someone else and that may have already been shot to death. I know there is a hidden menu that makes it possible to see how many times the shutter button has been pressed but sellers have so far been reluctant to access the menu and tell me what they see.

A new GH1 - with this option, I would use the GH13 with reduced settings and shoot the two camera scenes that need to be intercut seemlessly in the downgraded mode.

A new GH2- this is my preferred option because the GH2 clearly has some major advantages over the GH13. But can it be set up to achieve a look that matches well in edits with the GH13? I've seen Mike Kobal's music video shot with a GH2 and a GH13 and it's great but the scenes are mostly distinct and did not need to be intercut together convincingly in a single scene as would be the case in a dramatic feature or training video.

There may be other posts about shooting with the GH2 and GH13 together on this forum but I am close to buying a used GH13 or new GH2, which is hard to find these days, and I need to make a decision very soon.

Any suggestions and advice about shooting with two different GH series cameras would be much appreciated.

That's "new GH1 - option b."

You should also consider "new GH1 - option a." That is - buy a new GH1 that is hackable. They are still available here and there; I see them on UK and US eBay right now, and there are still "bricks 'n mortar" outlets with stock to clear.

There is also the "sell GH13 and buy two GH2s" option if the features of the GH2 are really important.

Hunter Richards did a great side-by-side test of the two cameras a couple of months ago here.

My takeaway from Hunter's test is that intercutting scenes from the two cameras would not be a problem -- and that you will be pleasantly surprised by how good the 24Mbps GH2 footage looks, even when compared to 44Mbps from the GH13.

With the GH2, you'll also get: 1) better low light performance 2) HDMI monitoring in record mode

Only real downside I see is the GH2's incompatible battery and AC power adapter - and the scarcity of OEM spare batteries and AC power supplies.
