Have a weird glitch with my Gh1 footage on Sony Vegas

maybe someone might know the problem im having. At the beginning of this video you will notice some sierd color glitches. The raw footage does not do this. When I drop this onto Vegas pro though it DOES this. The rest of this footage is with my HMC40. Is this the pulldown issue. Do I need to use cineform?

Fixed vimeo tag... Private... make 'er public.

BTW... Just the number between the {vimeo} tags... Not the entire htp://www.vimeo url.

Looks like the pulldown issue. If i was more familiar with Vegas I might be of more help (I have the latest version, just don't use it). I'd say ya to Neoscene.

You don't have to necessarily use any specific pulldown removal method, there are lots out there.

I also use Vegas Pro and I've never seen anything like this before, pulldown or no pulldown.

I had a similiar problem with Vegas Pro-is the footage 1080/24p? I believe this IS a pulldown issue and I solved it by using Cineform Neoscene and removing the 60i wrapper from the GH-1 camera and rendering true 24p from Vegas Pro-from Videoguys you can get Neoscene for $85 using online coupon codes also, BTW I have no affiliation with Cineform except for the fact I'm a satisfied customer.

try right clicking the footage and checking disable resample, I dont know if this helps but worth a try.

I had exactly the same problem on my GH1 PAL 720p 50 footage when I used Vegas Pro 9c. However, upgrading to the newer 9d version seems to have fixed it.

As I was using 720P footage, it shouldn’t be a pulldown issue (!?)

vegas 9c,b have this bug, has nothing to do with the pulldown...downgrade to 9a and you will have no issues...i dont know about 9d , if this issue is fixed for sure,

This is a bug with the 64-bit version of Vegas 9.0c. I had a quick look and it seems 9.0d fixed the issue.

YUP!
Got another question you guys probably already know.
Does Cineform or any of those other programs really make your videos quality almost as good as the raw footage?
