The lens that came with my 7D, the 28-135mm, has a problem I think when IS is turned on. It seems the lens randomly shifts with a quick pulse in the horizontal direction. When I turn IS off, it does not do this.
I've never had a lens go bad, I am assuming it is something to do with the IS motor, or whatever circuitry is in there, but I wanted to ask before I took it in anywhere as I wondered if other people have seen this.
