Has anyone used or own these lenses?

I've been using the 7D to film photoshoot's, and I like to have the diversity of a zoom, instead of trying to switch lenses during the same look.

I've been using the kit lens 24-135mm, and its ok at times, but i'd like to have a faster lens.

I currently own a 50mm 1.8, and the 24-135. I'd like to add a 70-200mm 2.8, and a wide zoom in the future.

Coming from a video camera i'm still trying to make the transition into the lens game.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had a stigma lens 80-200 - the contacts packed up so it wouldnt talk to the camera but being a (fake) nikkor I could use the aperture ring

you could consider a used 70-200 F4 canon L lens - might be the same price

That Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 is an incredible lens. I've used it before and it is incredibly sharp, almost as sharp as the Nikon counterpart. Only real downsides are it weighs more, AF not as fast or quiet and doesn't have image stabilization.
