Has anyone tried green screen with the AF100 yet?

Choice of lens and focal length is a photographic choice no matter what else.

Sometimes it simply depends on how you wish the subject to look. eg portrait, flat, distorted(wide angle in close) etc These are normal photgraphic decisions.

but..if you are incorporating a BG such as a set, a room or a location...you need to ensure that you choose a lens , focal length, angle, dof etc to make the FG convincingly fit with the BG.

In both cases...any old lens and focal length just wont work. Its nothing to do with how much space you have in the studio or anything else.

This game is about "tricking the eye and the brain"

I will post up some samples to show you shortly.

Just for the record

The screen grabs I posted were all HVX202.

@ esther
You need a range of lenses ( focal lengths) and a variable prime (ie zoom) will do the job ...but finding a zoom for the AF100 is a challenge in it self.

What exactly are you intending to shoot that requires a lot of keying?
