Has anybody tried the Sock Loupe on their A1?

I've never tried it but based on what I'm seeing at their website it doesn't look all that promising. Also, I have a problem with poorly constructed websites - I think quality companies have clean, professional and easily navigable websites and this link you've given just doesn't seem like one of those companies. I'd stay away from it. That is of course, unless its really cheap. Then it might not be such a bad thing to invest in on the off chance that it does work as well as their website says it does.

Yeah, that is one of the worst websites I have ever seen, even if it was DIY using consumer-level software. I, too, would be reluctant to buy anything from a company that can't handle the relatively simple task of putting together even a marginally presentable website.

I've seen some positive reviews elsewhere for it. People who've used have liked how well it works, although the construction isn't that robust. No complaints about delivery or service that I've seen.

But, the website does indeed send shivers up and down the spine. I suspect this is less a company than a person.

I agree with Huy Vu. Other professionals have bought and have given it great reviews. So to the ones who have "shivers" down their spines....chill out. Give it a chance :)

I didn't realize there was a diopter, actually now sounds like a good deal I thought it was just like a sunshade. I might have to pick one of those up myself to check out.

I am using mine with the A1 and it has allowed me to film in broad daylight where before it was very difficult. I would give it a thumbs up. Folds up nicely as well when not in use.
