Hardware Section

[Robbie Comeau]

What happened to the hardware section?

[Jeff Anderson]

looks like its under "filmmaking" now - makes sense since most hardware is applicable to most cameras. No sense in a tripod thread in the HVX and DVX forums. Or was that hardware section always there?

That's for the HVX though...

[Luis Caffesse]

The hardware section has been consolidated to one place:

... all hardware threads for the hvx and dvx forums have been moved to a general hardware forum under the filmmaking category. This is so we can keep things in one place, and folks with other cameras can discuss their hardware issues there as well...

Ryan just posted the wrong link

[Luis Caffesse]

Not exactly - that was one of many announcements made about the move - just happend to be in the HVX section.
It says:

"Hardware discussion for the HVX is now under the filmmaking category as a general hardware discussion forum."

Anyhow - I think we're all on the same page now.

That's funny the hardware section isn't in the DVX section, so when you click it you would get the same message as in the HVX!

But I understand now.

There is an announcement thread in the "News" section at the top of dvxuser and it references DVX/HVX Hardware
