Hardware accelerated decoding for AVCHD

i have elemental accelerator. I used it on my mac 8 core and i would not recommend it on mac. it renders a less quality than Mainconcept and it does not come with such a great speed that they say on AVCHD 1980i.

If you already have a CUDA-enabled NVIDIA card, you can download the trial version of Divide Frame and see what difference it does make. I have seen about a 40% acceleration in exporting on my system using a Quadro FX1700 as compared to Premiere CS4 alone.

Remember, this is for H.264 only. You won't see any acceleration unless you are editing/rendering/exporting H.264 material. This includes AVCHD and footage from a Canon 5D/7D, etc...

Is it CUDA based acceleration?

No , but the new CS5 "engine" will utilize CUDA cores ;although it hasn't been revealed yet if all cards that are cuda capable will be supported (quadro's will be for sure, but there are still unanswered questions if consumer version cards will work)
