Hard Drive Solutions For Edit Bay

Our studio is using a Dual 2 Gig G5 For editing with a terabyte of storage.
We just got our HVX200 and are looking at adding another terabyte.
Does anyone have recommendations on external raid arrays.
We were looking at either the G-tech drives or perhaps something from LaCie.
I would really like to know what people are using in the terabyte range.

Thanx

do NOT go with Lacie. They have a great reputation for crapping out on people. G-Raids are very nice and would be the best choice.

I would only go with SATA solutions and not Firewire. You can go a number of different ways, from roll it yourself to pre-built devices. I would take a look at the G Raid SATA (I don't think you really need fibre channel for DVCPRO HD) or CalDigit. I'm getting a 2-drive CalDigit Duo for evaluation and will post my results. CalDigit has its own SATA card (and, by the way, theirs is the first to work in the Mac Pro). Otherwise, I strongly recommend the Sonnet cards.
