I'm trying to wrap up this LoveFest entry so I can concentrate on the task at hand.
We're having a party at the house tonight for her and I promised her she wouldn't have to do anything for it - so I've got a day of cleaning and setup ahead of me - as well as a couple of people coming in from out of town.
If I were a good husband I would have planned a big surprise party for her - but she's the kind of person who would see that coming a mile away. I told her yesterday that I'm going to throw her a surprise birthday party in July, just to really catch her off guard.

i'm doing pretty well for thirty, i have to say. and, other than the dogs not really caring that it's my birthday and waking me up at the butt-crack of dawn, it's been a great birthday so far.

Just finished cleaning up so she can wake up to a clean house...
... I couldn't have her cleaning up after her own party.
Alright - seriously - tomorrow I'm uploading my LoveFest entry.
Now I'm going to sleep.
OH - aside from the party itself, I got her the BBC Planet Earth series on DVD.
I know, I know.... it's not HD... but, it's what we have for now.
