Happy birthday apple macintosh

[David G. Smith]

24, January 1984. The Apple Macintosh Computer was available for sale. Thank you Apple. Who can forget the commercial that changed advertising, as much as the Apple Macintosh changed computing. Way to go. Any thoughts?

Where would we be without it? Think about that for a minute!

Well, I wouldn't use Final Cut Studio at work. I wouldn't have an iPod connection in my car. And I wouldn't be posting this with my iPhone.

Apple...Microsoft...who cares? It's personal computing that's changed the world.

It's my B-day too. Sweet.

Oh yeah, I really did not want to post this to reignite the PC v. Mac flame wars. I just wanted to take a moment to tip my hat to the history of the personal computing revolution. I will say that I think that without the Macintosh, the Windows machines may not be as good as they are, and without the Windows machines, the Macintosh would not be as good as it is. It is cool how that works.
