SHORT: Hank & Honey: A Holiday Horror

Wow. Dark, funny... a bit disturbing. Well done!

Love the work with the Christmas lights in the window 3:21-3:44 (in tandem with the sound design). Brilliant!

Thanks Alex, the lights going off in tandem was basically blind luck. It happened on the first take, and I tried to time it again but had no luck. Sometimes things just fall into place!

I love/hate it when that happens! Love it because it's so perfect, hate it because there's no second take. I honestly assumed you'd programmed the sequence. It's so spot-on... the creepy glow cycle before and as as the shadowy ficure crosses, the flashing ("warning") when the figure hits its mark, and the hyper twinkling that signals impending chaos. The sequence really is perfect from start to finish (and the movie soundtrack clips in the background fit like puzzle pieces on top of it)!

I love it when the background soundtrack is also in the public domain! Makes my life so much easier since I assumed I would need to get a score made for this. My brothers are going to love it since they both saw Santa Claus Conquers the Martians in a second run theater when they were kids in the 70s.
