I purchase a few Hanimex lenses and thought they were all Pentax K mounts, so I got a PK to EOS adapter.
The adapter doesn't seem to hold the lens very snug, so moving the focus ring will essentially unattach the lens.
Is it not a Pentax K lens? I'm not sure what the issue is here.
Then, when I tried to see if it worked, it seemed ok for a moment, though I couldn't get a clear image, and then got "error 20" shooting not possible due to an error. I noticed the lens has a little piece that looks like it could bump the mirror, so I was careful, but now I noticed that the mirror... isn't there? Has flipped down into the camera? Does it do that to protect the mirror from damage?
Then I reattached a lens I trust to the camera and continued to get Error 20. So... Now I'm a bit scared.
Is the lens NOT a PK? What's up with the mirror? What's up with that error? Thanks guys.
