C300: handgrip?

Do any of you take the hand grip off your C300? I was wondering if it is a pain or not. The reason is I would like to use my Allsteady with the c300
 
It's easy.....just un-screw the handle and un-plug the cable.....and if you need to use the handle for the trigger or iris control, the are a lot of extensions you can get from Arri, Wooden, Shape, etc......
