Half Man, half TREE!

I saw this on TV about a week ago..... They actually have a US doctor working on treatment for him. The "tree" parts are actually a form of wart.

It's disappointing that the barriers to his coming to the US for further examination and treatment are so tough that it's not even being considered.

That's probably true.

They might just hand him an aspirin, shovel some dirt over his feet, and advise him to steer clear of termites...

What? The US wouldn't be the best place for him? I guarantee if that guy worked at my job they'd make him the branch manager!

OK seriously now... that guy is sporting some serious wood.

No really... the US would be a good place to get that guy cured... we have some of the best tree surgeons in the world.

If I had that problem I'd be tempted to suggest amputation... but then I'd just be left with a couple stumps.

Can you believe that guy has kids? I'll bet he's the most famous person in his family tree.

Someday we'll get to the root cause for people making such hideous puns.

In the hope of encouraging them to turn over a new leaf.

And not behave like such saps.

Not to bark at you, or anything.

I dont know what the big deal is. This is one guy with a abnormal condition. Isnt it more important that we solve bigger problems?

I watched the whole thing. Turned out that he has a weak immune system that allowed the growth and proliferation of a wart causing virus. The "roots" are actually huge warts.

In the end he ended up refusing medical treatment which would have consisted of no more than taking a drug which would have been paid for.

I guess he preferred the circus life.

I don't know if he preferred the circus life, but it was the only way he could make some green... branching out.
