GH13 Hacked GH untreated footage

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would do me a favor and let me download some untreated hacked GH footage so that I may see how well it fares during color correction. At the moment I have a NEX-5N and I´m very disappointed with how bad it fares when I try to CC its´footage (the image falls apart straight away).

Ideally I´m looking for someone sitting in a chair in some challenging dynamic range conditions to see if I can boost the shadows and tone down the highlights without the image falling apart.

cheers

Rafa

I'm at work right now, but when I get home tonight I can put up a link to download the raw first shot used in this video...

It was shot on a GH1 with one of lpowell's hacks.

I could also put up any other shots from that, which you might be interested in.

Here you go, here's some footage of an old guy putting on a hat I shot with my GH2 and Olympus 45mm. lpowell's 100Mbps Flow Motion patch. Smooth, all -2.

I don't have the server room for .MTS files, but I can at least offer frame grabs from the camera files. Here are two images from last summer with slightly different aperture settings.

Hack settings were lpowell max. latitude and Film mode either Smooth or Nostalgic (dialed down). These samples contain mostly green hues, which the GH1 can capture very well. Red and Blue, not so well. So these are with ideal palette for the most detail. It doesn't hurt that the Minolta zoom lens is basically a Leica Vario-Elmar (E60) in disguise.

You guys rock! Many many thanks!

Freddy, if you can upload that footage I would really appreciate it.

Does anyone know if the later model GH1 (the ones that couldn't be hacked at first) had less problems with banding? Or was it just a crapshoot.

The banding is still pretty bad. If it was worse in earlier generations, then they would be absolutely unusable in low light.
