HACK: Problem with PAL<->NTSC

I'm having a problem with the PAL<->NTSC hack on my EU version: If I store any custom settings to the camera (C1,C2,C3) the NTSC hack comes unusable, even if the card is formatted and no PAL clips are on the card. It just says "File number exceeded" or just wont start recording. If I don't store any custom settings, the hack works. Anyone else having this? Is this a known issue?

The 29 minute limit remover works great, though! :)

You should really take this question over to Vitaliy's hack site.

You should also be very specific about what you did or did not do. That way your experience will add to the testing knowledge base. Because now you are a tester.

:grin:

@Tommi H: maybe handling is a little more complicated, i saw this also on my PAL GH2, but my tested solution is: (could be, others are OK also)
1. First : make your setttings without C1-C3 setting
2. Last check, that NTSC is selected
3. turn off camera

4. turn on, check,if NTSC is selected, format the card
5. first shoot a 1080p footage, then 720p60 (this must appear, if you´re using more hack settings...)
6. OK ? -then make your C1-3 settings

for my testings specially 720p: i set C1 ready to shoot for 1080i/p first, C2 for 720p-testing
i oftenly change PAL/NTSC mode now , therefore marked different cards (class10) for NTSC and PAL
