The GY-HM100U is a Compact Handheld camcorder with performance and features found only in larger and more expensive models. My GY-HM100 was delivered yesterday. This camera is awesome. It takes a while to get used to the size and controls (still learning). The images this little cam produces are utterly amazing. Better than anything I have used, in this price range. The LCD is not ideal, but useable. The VF is fine. Very, very happy with the purchase.
 
It uses. SD cards. My question is what is the highest FCP I would need to use with this camera?

I'm actually comparing this to the GH1, for some reason. (even though they're in different leagues) I would definitely throw down with this if it were just a slightly higher in cost to the GH1.

Saw this cam at HDExpo, spent about 60% of my time at JVC's both looking at this and about 35% at the Canon booth looking at their cameras. I was so impressed with this little guy. They took me through the process and it was so smooth. I was totally sold on both quality and mainly workflow.

Hi there,

can anybody help me with a good side-by-side comparison of the HM 100 and the Pansonic HMC 151? I want to shoot an ultralowbudget featurefilm (want to use a letus adapter aswell), therefore I am up to buy a new camera and cannot find any hints which picture is the better one in terms of bright sunligt, lowlight or skintones... thanks a lot for hints or answers!!!
