Guns

I bought my rifle online off ebay. It was just an airsoft gun. It came with an orange tip, so I spray painted that. I also took a knife and scratched it up a bit to give it a more worn look. The pistol I borrowed from a friend. It's a gas powered air soft gun, much like the ones used in "Broken". It has a recoil that makes it look very real.

I just searched ebay for "bb gun pistol". Wow. Tons.

EDIT: note to self; don't announce in a forum before bidding on an item.

Yeah, Ebay is great. I've gotten a few props off there.

There are some cool guns at Kay Bee Toystores that have realistic chamber slide (or whatever you call it LoL).

If I use guns, that's what I'm getting.

Yeah, im looking for something with blowback action. The airsofts look great except for that orange tip Im guessing they fire without a BB in them also.
Thanks for the links.
I just found this place that looks great too. Super real looking with no orange parts.

I just bought these two BB guns on ebay. hehe. Won one for .01 and the other for .99. Of course the shipping was outrageous. Spent about $30 total. They should make for decent props with some slight modifications.

Man, the NYC laws are strict with shooting anything gun related.
"Any violations of local, state and federal laws will expose your production to civil and criminal liabilities."

Yeah, those orange tips are required by law. Spray painting them yourself probably won't be a big deal (I wouldn't suggest using them outdoors in a city, though), but ordering guns without them via mail may not be worth the potential hassle...
