We have already taped most of the film and should finish taping by Tuesday. The editing is going to be cumbersome, but I think the results will be interesting. I will try to post some behind the scenes once I get a picture or two.

"Kinetica is All You Need"

CAST (so far):
Wes Desantis
Garry Gulledge
Brian Puzar
Jon Sam

DIRECTORS:
Wes Desantis
Garry Gulledge

Here is a teaser shot of our commercial. It doesn't give too much away.

We may be pushing the rules of the commercial a bit, but we will see. Good luck to all.

Congrats on fininshing your shoot. As for coming in under the wire -- I'm pretty certain that I'll be finishing later than that, myself. Some of the post-production is taking far longer than I anticipated :(

Going for comedy. I actually came up with another commercial that won't be done in time for adfest. I wrote up the script and I may film it this weekend in time for the Heinz contest. Good luck to you guys too. Wes (pictured above) has taken over a lot of the work since I am doing other things, hope it comes together for everyone.

I don't think that Larry has had the chance to list anything that was submitted after his post last night (I think 1:00ish AM EST) and now. So, probably no need to worry :)

You were right Zoidoid. I just had to give the Fest Master a chance. Awaiting approval and sweating .50 cal bullets.

Some humerous moments, most notabley the "lose up to 90% of your body mass" part, but I otherwise saw no specific direction that this was going with regards to advertising, unless Kinetica is supposed to be like Hyundia, and has their corporate fingers in everything. Even so, the big giants like that still have commercials to adverstise each product at a time, not try & blast them all into one commercial.

As a consumer, I was lost with this one. Sorry.

I can see what you mean by being lost as a consumer. I think we approached this at a different angle which is why I was afraid it might not have made the cut. Hopefully we can get some more views and people's thoughts of this "different" take at a 30 second commercial.

I echo the remark of Norm.

THere wasn't a specific product here so I didn't learn what Kinetica was. Furthermore, the sound changed so much throughout that it was hard to follow.
