Guerilla35 Commercial...

Never been called a bot before.

I think in this case Isaac, it takes on to know one. I thought your response to the proverb quote was very wize.

I dunno who you are in your regular life, but you appear to be well informed on the 35mm adapters, which means you read internet forums a lot. Great. But, I don't think this is your regular posting name and is merely a pseudonym you're using to irritate this thread and truthfully you're too afraid to blab this nonsense under your "real" name. Never trust a pseudonym, folks.

Anyways, I brought you a gift !

Digging the casual homophobia, VideoPimp. All kidding aside, if you can make a better adapter...then make one.

Okay I didn't want to make anyone mad. But, no I don't read the forums much. Brian, you don't
know me, so I'm going to have to past on your prescription. My only point, before I was so
rudely attack by *the big shots* on this forum was: if you're all so smart why don't you share the info. That's it. That's all! ASS! That's what forums where designed for. This forums has a lot of
people selling things and under handedly endorsing products for kick backs. As for the real information. Most of us aren't privileged. I only wanted to share my adapter and wanted to see how this chat worked. I've been using my adapter on ANTM (UPN) for at least a year and half.
When I walked in to the production office with it they first laughed. Then I hooked it up to my DVX. Shot some footage and the laughter stopped. That's all. That's it! ASS!

Pimp, wanna post some grabs? I think we're all interested in seeing your handiwork. If your adaptor works as well as you say it does why not share the plans?

And since when am I a bigshot? I never got the secret dvxuser decoder bigshot ring.

Take Brians advice and chill out...

Hey, pal! Show some respect. Your comments towards the members (especially highly-respected members) here are NOT going to gain you any respect at all. In fact, you're probably going to get banned anyway for the flaming posts you've been making. My suggestion, if you want to stay in this community; bite the bullet and apologize...

I believe there is only one way to settle this. Video Pimp posts some saucy shots of Tyra Banks using his home made 35 on Americas Next Top Model. Then we'll all shut up and buy his - but only if it comes with her phone number.

so true. i humbly and respectfully doubt that any national television series would use a home made 35 on an ongoing basis or why on earth they would employ someone like this. should be simple to figure out who this person is. watch the show and look for name of the d.p.

it is highly unlikely an accomplished director of photography would be trolling message boards like the DVXUser (posting messages as those of 'videopimp' that is). I am certain there are accomplished cinematogaphers on these boards.. actually, that is well known. There is at least one A.S.C. member on these boards that I'm aware of. But, professionals of that calibar are emotionally intelligent and know how to handle themselves.

'videopimp' is probably a wannabe production assistant or something.

HaHa! Humbly and respectfully. WOW! Did anyone see Batman? It's all about relationships... Very few are emotionally intellligent.

VideoPimp - You said the laughter stopped when you showed people footage from your adaptor. Well, we're all laughing. Shut us up!

PK... After listening to the techheads talk, I'm actually taking action. I've made several calls and I
will have a working prototype very soon. I'm setting up patent meeting first of the week and will
have something to post by the end of next week. Setting a target price of 350.00.... I hope.

That's great. But seeing is believing. ...Any chance you could post "the "footage" that you've already shown other people. You must have a working version right now, right? So take some shots of flowers and then post the grabs. That should take you 30 minutes. I had a wideangle adaptor earlier this year and I posted shots using it within 10 minutes of receiving it in the mail.

E-mail me the images and I can upload them. (Honestly!) You need a server to host them and I have about 15mb free on my comcast account. Email me at commode@gmail.com (yeah, I know it's a stupid email adress.)

Otherwise you need to upload them, then surround the URL with IMG tags surrounded by brackets, not carrots. If you have webspace, that's the easiest thing to do, but I have extra webspace (I can sacrifice a meg or two) if you need.

AMAZING! He achieved 100% shallow DOF!
He e-mailed me a few grabs. I'll post the best one:
