green screen workflow, will this work?

i'm doing my first green screen shoot with my HVX. i plan on using the waveform and scopes in the capture mode of FCP and record to an external SATA via PCMCIA card. i will be shooting 1080 and/or 720... and is the powerbook OK for monitoring?

i've done some quick tests, but this is the first big project with it.

use the waveform in FCP to check the lighting on the screen and you shouldn't have any problems. you want a nice flat line at 40.

Hey man,

dont forget to post some footage when the shoot is done, i wanted to do some greenscreen tests here in pal country, but hadnt have the time yet..good luck!
 
thank you poiboy - i'm hoping to do a test in the week or so, then the actual shoot in late sept. if there are any other thoughts, i'd love to hear 'em!

and i'll post some shots when i have 'em!
