FS7: Green grass saturation

I'm not really following this thread, but I just want to go on record has having said that the scene files in that test that are attributed to me are not being used correctly (exposure, white balance, applying a LUT to one of them, etc.) and I disavow and connection to them. It is meaningless to just roll through random scene files without making other necessary modifications to the camera's settings.

Sure didn't mean to misuse the files.

The white balance was set custom to the setting, which came in at 4900k.

It does look like I messed up on the exposure levels for your files and misread that part in the book.

Of all the scene files, I see that yours come with more precise recommendations. For instance, I do see that for the Universal file it is shot in SLOG 3, but then the LUT recommendation is the Sony SLOG 2 to REC 709 LUT. And that's not the LUT I used.

Sorry about that and deleted them.

No harm done, thanks for understanding. I actually think your table-top setup was pretty good. The LUT recommendation in my book for Universal-1 is correct because that Scene File is not a pure implementation of S-LOG. It is a scene file that uses S-LOG3 for the gamma component -- and that is very different than the CINE EI verion of S-LOG3. Also, it's not really useful to show ungraded Universal-1 because it HAS to be graded. Unlike the others scene files in your test, it is not meant to be a WYSIWYG scene file. And as you have acknolwedged, exposure and white balance must be handled according to my recommendations for my scene files to produce the desired results.
