C100: Great example of a C100 slomo

This is a great example of the C100 as a whole, It looks to be shot handheld (where the C100 excels), images are incredible, and to top it off great slow motion from a camera that "has no slow-motion capabilities".

Is that motion stutter real, or is it Vimeo/Firefox being stupid?

I'm using Safari and I didn't notice any stuttering.

N I C E !

I like it.

Vimeo HD requires a pretty quick connection. Maybe it's not caching enough. Try playing it in SD and see if it stutters.
No stutter here, but I am on 50 Mb FIOS. I find so many users have trouble playing Vimeo HD that I am starting to upload SD when I can. Better SD that plays than HD that stutters for significant percentage.
Not wanting to steal this thread. The video is absolutely yummy in many respects, not just the slo-mo.

Yeah, well anyway...Very nice job done on both the photography and the slow motion handling. I am going to shoot some tests this week using both the internal AVCHD and a Ninja 2.

A great example of the Canon C100 slow motion cheat! I shot everything on 60i and then brought it into a 24P Premiere CS6 timeline (everything but the non slow-mo stuff in the middle, shot on an HDV cam). That's it!

Oh, and happy birthday Mrs. Bush!

great job! The slomo on the C100 is a really workable solution. I use 50i in Pal land but i might give 60i a go soon for a little bit more slomo breathing space... Check out an Mtb video I shot recently on my Vimeo channel.

Do anyone know an example of C100 slow motion with footage recorded on external recorder? (Ninja 2/Blade) I am wondering if you can see quality difference.

Just making sure the procedure with Premiere Pro is as follows.

1. Shoot 60i
2. In Premiere Pro use 24p or 23.976 timeline/sequence.
3. Drop clip on timeline but don't change settings if Premiere asked to.
4. Slow clip down 40%
5. Grab a coldy and laugh at the amazing slow mo.

Am I missing anything?
