Graveyard Dolly Tests

Ok, nitpick- the cut where his head turns and turns back, the second shot needs to be trimmed down a bit. Nice shots man. You got any pictures of the dolly?

The last dolly, i don't think you should start it at the grave onto his face, start it even in the middle of the grave. It was just to long.

Nice colors though. Is there going to be a voice over or seomthin?
 
yeah i know, it wasnt edited, it was just random clips thrown onto the timeline. the dolly is just made of scrap wood, angle iron, skateboard wheels and pvc pipe
 
yeah brown i got lucky on slowing it down without making it look bad. here is a photo of the dolly:

the dolly shots were not very smooth... there were was all kinds of small jittering and shake I could see.

Your dolly needs more weight to get some truly nice silky smooth shots.
 
yeah...this is the less expensive model they sell. ha.

and yeah it was real shaky, the grass was uneven and we didn't bother to make the tracks level cause we weren't supposed to be in the cometary in the first place. i didnt use a tripod on it either i just put a sweatshirt on the wooden platform and got the camera semi level on the sweatshirt and hoped for the best
