This is no longer true. With the new firmware the Inferno will also output the RAW signal as video.

What about a Blackmagic Design Micro Converter (HDMI to SDI)? Does that one also have a lot of delay?

I paired one with a Core SWX USB & D-Tap Adapter so that I could use a Varicam LT EVF with a c100 at one point haha but I don't recall how much delay...it was a while ago.

Hey Mitch, any updates on this? I'm planning to get a dedicated EVF like the Gratical Eye. I need to know if it can work while Im recording raw using the Atomos Shogun Inferno.

I believe the Atomos is currently not doing a downconverted video out when in ProRes RAW record mode. I'm told that this likely will be available in a future firmware update of the recorder.
