Graded Footage test

Thanks alot you guys, your making me blush. I have good news, I have a rough cut of the trailer going and will be showing it to the director tonight. If everything goes well I'll have a 1min trailer posted for you guys either tonight or tommorow.

However I'm curious about the soft focus - is that 100% due to human error, or is there always a softening toward the edges of the frame when using the Brevis and other 35mm adapters?
 
The focus that close to the edges is part human error, part adapter and part lens. The far edges of the brevis do lose a little resolution, but I was also shooting witht the 50mm 1.4 wide open, that also introduces a bit of softness at the edges. So while I can't take full blame for it, I still know that there are other times during that same shot when he was in better focus.

This is Fantastic looking footage. Not only the best brevis footage i've seen, but some of the best stuff i've seen in a while on here.
