Ok guys. in a country with iffy electricity, substandard municipal sewage (read the city smells like sh*t when it rains) and rare internet.

Luckily i am pirating bandwidth from some guy with a wireless conection.HEHE

ok so liek i have been collection footage from Beautifullll Istanbul... this city has so much charachter it really should b somethign everyone sees befoer they die.

Think Rome (old and rich history) meets Hongkong ( crowded)

heres a couple grabs fro mthe sea side. This guy was pissed i was filming; Period.

So natuarally he made a great subject.

I got a job workign for a kinder garden shooting a video for them, for the parents. They told me the last guy they hired was a major pro, and that they expected my work to be just as good. I got nevous, cause teh school is a privateschool for the super rich. i was expecting some hard core Pro work to comete against. When they showed me his work. thsi is what i saw.

Then i made my video look like this. The said they would never hire him again.

My aunt got married, after the weddign we visited the tomb of a saint to get a blessing. these are from tht expereince. it was interesting, and teh place wa gorgeous. (she requested Black and white) but the bug HAD to be in color. it was also th size of a hamster. freaking GIGANTIC..... but beautiful.

I really only like one of the "pro's" images. the third is alright.

I really like the grandma images, and all of the ones of the pissed off guy. Especially image8.jpg.

Yea these places are really quite interesting. all kind of hidden away in little corners of the city.
 
Off topic: A college buddy of mine from Izmir is going to be in town to see me next week. I haven't seen him in at least 8 years.
 
the cemetary one is very original. and that first grab were you filmed the kids... either your DVX was totally out of focus or you screwed up on the soft look. what program did you use? i liked the first one... i would've been better if the guy didnt look at the camera.

It wasnt my grab. IT was the old Video company's work.

I actually like the one of the guy looking back. He was really pissed and a little crazy i think. The look of hate that he flashed was really intense. lol


All on Vegas5 cause thats all i got.
 
6 is really good.

i think i wanna upgrade but you cant open VEgas 6 .veg files in 5 or 4. I started a project on my friends computer with 6 trandsfered to my Laptop, only to not beable to open the file. It was crappy. i had to do much work all over again.

Again Lucky, sorry bout the Hangover out burst. rough night this new years was.......
 
thanks, I will be here for anohter three months, till March 14th.

Then i am comng home to NYC!!!!!!!!!! sooo excited.

Yea you guys Turkey is totoaly a great country. everyone shouldsee Istanbul before they die. people are cool, and its cheap to come here. ( food which is amazing and hotels are cheap)
