Grabs from Santa Fe

[Wano540]

Here are some grabs of Santa Fe, downtown and nature. There was some cc, let me know what you think!

[t-h-e-w-h-o]

I really like the first and second one. In the first picture, what type of cc did you do?

[William_Robinette]

Looks good.

They do look a little too sharp. What do you have your detail level set to?

In the first picture I just used the buffalo filter from magic bullet. It really didn't do much. It just enriched the colors slightly.

Also, the detail levels were both set to 0.

[Lawsuit_Boy]

I think they look pretty good. and the detail is fine.

[Zach Lien]

2nd picture owns. looks very mariachiish

[Slimothy]

I like the first two. The last one looks really, really grainy. Were the same settings used on all?

I used the same settings on all of them, except white balance and iris. Not sure what I did wrong.

[TimurCivan]

looks like detail+7
but still looks nice. sometimes i like the harsh edge on flowers. it makes them pop.

[Jay Rodriguez]

they look good to me... i want to go there one day.

Ok, so I took another grab of the sky through DVD SP instead of FCP. For some reason it looks a lot better from DVD SP. Here it is with less grain.

[Palace Films]

Good stuff. Few observations:

I would have liked the first one to be a little closer. The second one looks good but I would shoot with a little less detail. The third one is too blurry to be taken seriously and the last one is ok but would change the settings to emphasize contrast.
