The blood looked really good, but it seemed like it came after the sound effect.

Wouldn't we hear the gunshot after we saw him getting shot?

Or am I just way too tired...

Well, the reason that the blood comes after the sound, is that we are looking from the shooter's perspective, so his rifle (which makes the sound), is "behind" the camera.

Very cool -- A while back I decided that given the difficulty of throwing backgrounds out of focus with the DVX I might as well compromise and throw foregrounds out of focus instead. Great grabs!
