C200: GPS Receiver GP-E2

Forgive my ignorance in regard to the general functionality of the GPS Receiver GP-E2, but since this uses Universal Coordinated Time can it be used to synchronize multiple Canon C200s/C300s/etc?

The c200 doesn't have the ability to accept TC in, but if this can sync their internal clocks and TC can be fed out of the SDI... I mean couldn't this whole system be theoretically synchronized with anything?

This is the solution I use for timecode syncing. You can plug it into the Mic input and the camera records an audio timecode.
It comes with a software to sync afterwards...works like a charm.

That's another solution for sure, but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced with the GPS unit and the C300 maybe...
