I've never shot with a gorilla pod before, but I like to do a lot of handheld type shot (I usually use a Monopod as it give some stability and you get a smoother handheld feeling).
Do you get a lot more stable shot when handholding with a Gorilla Pod? I was thinking about using it over a Monopod because the Gorilla Pod just seems a bit quicker to work with and you can get more angles because it's less restricting.
Also, if your zoom lens does NOT have Image Stabilization, does a Gorilla Pod compensate for that?
