KCMG TV parodies the hot topic "Google +" in this weeks video. Let us know what you think about lighting and audio and whether or not you liked the vid. THANKS

Why did you decide to light it so strongly? Given the title I kept expecting it to be revealed that they were in some ultra-luminous heaven-space, but that didn't seem to be the case. What motivated the choice?

I like how it started out, but I had to stop watching half way through, it was too cutty. But I came back after a sense of obligation because I'm giving feedback. I regret it. Didn't like where it went in the end.

Over all not enough reaction shots. You don't need to show everyone talking all the time. Reaction shots are stronger than dialogue shots. Needs more coverage.

That doesn't really address lighting and audio...
I like the lighting and audio, if that helps any.

audio for dialogue was very good. the storyline didnt do anything for me. for what transpired in the video seemed like it could have been cut in half. agree with j. i would have clicked away from it within the first 30 seconds.

on a compositional note i thought the medium shot of the first guy leaning on the counter wasnt composed (with the background) as well as his more close up where the decorative shelf base on the wall was separated from his head where on the medium it was encroaching on his head and i couldnt help but to keep looking at it as a distraction. felt cluttered for such a simple scene.

the first guy by the counter didnt do much for me as far as his acting delivery. the guy at the table did a nice job.

also, i agree with J., comments about the cutting and lack of reaction shots. i think a 2 shot would have been nice for some relief too from all of this cutting.

not really sure why it had the diffused glamor look. it looked good to me but i dont think it was fitting to the setting and story IMO.

the good thing about YT is you can look at the "insight" for any video and tell how long the attention span of your viewers are. on YT its pretty hard to keep attention.

good luck

Thanks for the responses. Fortunately for me, a youtube audience doesn't click away based on things film makers notice. They just want to be slapped in the face with jokes, nudity, or explosions. I check my insight and I seem to hold attention pretty well. However I love your criticisms and will take note to them for my future work.
