Google indicates this site is hosting malicious software

I got a warning from Firefox (which appeared as a result of consulting some google engine) that stated this site has infected users' computers with malicious software.

Personally, I think google is quickly becoming an evil empire like microsoft and this sort of thing shows their power - any new user who gets this message will stay away from this forum. Not good for this forum.

Apparently, there is some way to change the status. The warning stated the webmaster should visit google at: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

FYI

This info came from here: http://safebrowsing.clients.google....p://www.dvxuser.com/V6/forumdisplay.php?f=146

I got the same warning also in firefox/google. Don't blame google, this has happened to my own sites, and it indicates that the site has been compromised and there is some malicious code or other on the server. I had to clean up whole site (somebody had managed to hack the index file of every directory on the server) and then re-submit to google to get it checked and released as OK. They are not an 'Evil Empire' this is very useful and important information that Internet Explorer does not pick up. This system works and is designed to protect users and owners of sites.

Ok, believe as you wish, I know people who work there.

Anyway, they should be contacting the web master and also indicating what pages are suspicious. To blanket the entire site with a warning is not only unprofessional, but malicious in its own way (as innocent as it may seem).

I'm getting it as well. It's very annoying! No matter what it takes me away from the site. Even if I say.. This is not an attack site. Come on GOOGLE! leave me alone!

My Zonealarm keeps picking up a trojan whenever I come here. This is first time today I've managed to stay here long enough to write a message.

Google is evil!

Google is evil!

They controlled the whole internet now!!! I am really pissed that any website (even mistakenly) reported to them will be blocked by various browsers. Big brother is coming back! We must boycott them!

Google does not control the internet, and they aren't blocking any web sites. You only see the blocked site message if you are using firefox/chome/safari AND you have checked the browser security option to "Block reported attack sites" AND the site is/was infected with malware. Even then you can choose to (foolishly) ignore the warning and visit the site anyway if you are okay with having your computer infected with malware. Personally I think this is a great service the google is providing to everyone for free to greatly improve our information security.

Site is working okay for me now. Thanks a ton to everyone who worked hard to fix the problem. Are other people still getting warnings? Clearing your browser's cache and cookies might help.
