Give one of those a shot. I've never tried, but they're as cheap as you're gig to get and people seem to dig them.

I got the 72mm one and two step-up rings just to future-proof the filter for when I get more lenses. It works great on both my kit lens and the 50mm.

Only thing is I wanted to get a cover for it. Does anyone know what the cover size needs to be? They're wider on the end (it's not 72mm). Is it 82mm?

Is it pretty neutral in it's treatment of the colors of the image?

from my experience, I can say that for the untrained eye that is shooting a different subject each day, it is not easy to see how bad a filter or a lens can be

I had an LCW fader ND, which I sold on ebay last week (at a not-so-small "25% plus fees and shipping" loss)

it took a nice push from this forum for me to test it against my one dollar resolution chart and see just how bad it was

maybe the polaroid ones are better; I've never seen one, but my totally uneducated guess is they're not
